* a quick note that for travel bookings (with travel > 75km from PG), the above package pricing is not applicable and will instead charge by either a full or half day rate due to the length of travel required.
**Ability to provide aerial drone footage contingent on airspace classification above property. Please note drone footage in enquiry and I will check Transport Canada’s airspace map.
So how does it work?
Feel free to reach out to me below with some information about the property. It’s great to see a picture of the exterior and figure out which way the property faces so we can pick the best time of day to shoot our video. Ideally, we’ll shoot at sunrise or twilight to make sure the lighting is flattering, but a good cloudy day is also more than good enough.
On our shoot day, we’ll confirm that we’re happy with the weather and lighting on the day. I like to plan to arrive about 30 minutes before the shoot so we can walk through the property together to:
Point out the highlight features/rooms of the property
Point out things that should NOT be included in the video
Make any last minute adjustments/staging
Turn on the lights we want to turn on
From there, I typically begin with the “safe” exterior shots (with good light) then proceed inside. Depending on the size of the property, filming can take anywhere from 45 minutes to 2 hours.
At the end, if the lighting has shifted dramatically, I do typically like to get a second set of exteriors in the new light - just to see if they have a more flattering or dramatic look to them that’s usable.
