Are you a wedding photographer?

I spent 4+ years shooting weddings through Prince George and Northern BC and I enjoyed it, and learned a ton however in 2021, I decided to slowly transition out of wedding/family photography to focus on commercial and corporate photography/videography.

Do you travel for projects?

Short answer - YES.

Slightly longer answer - while the bulk of my business is focused on Northern BC and I am based out of Prince George, I regularly enjoy travelling for Client work. My background as a University recruiter (spending weeks upon weeks traveling to promote higher ed) made me an incredibly efficient and comfortable road warrior.

Fun fact: in 2024, a project shoot took me all the way from The Kootenays of BC down to Arkansas, Louisiana and Alabama!

How much does a video cost?

5 million dollars.

What kind of photography/videography do you do?

Honestly, this is a tough one to answer. In any given week, it can be a tourism shoot, a real estate shoot, then over to a pulp mill, and finishing off Friday at the hospital.

It all kind of falls under “commercial photography” or “corporate photography” (slash videography) and I would consider myself a broad generalist within that.

Do you work with a crew or are you solo?

A bit of both! My business is comprised of me - Darrin Rigo (hence the name) but I regularly crew up or crew down with subcontractors for different shoots depending on the needs of the project and the available budget.

A good way to figure out what is necessary is to just shoot me an email, we can talk about scope/size of the production and I can determine if it’s a solo project or if I might need a couple of helping hands!
